World Cup Tournament
Group StageThe Group stage is the first part of the tournament. There are 8 groups in total with 4 teams in each group. The groups are lettered A-H. Groups are decided by a random draw. In each group there is six matches in total. Each win is 3 points, draw 1 points, and a loss is no points. The 2 teams with the most points advance to the knockout stage.

Knockout StageAfter the group stage is the knockout stage. It starts with the round of 16 which includes each of the 2 teams that passed from each group. After this is the quarter finals with only 8 teams. Next is the semifinals that decide the championship game. The day before the championship game there is a game to decide third place between the two teams that lost in the semifinals.

Knockout Stage SetupEach team that passes the group stage will either be 1 or 2. Each group has a letter so if you are the team with the most points and are in group A the you are seeded 1A. This happens with all the other groups. If you are 1A then you play 2B and 2A plays 1B and so on. After this round the winners advance. The table above shows how the tournament works.
